Eclectic Event December 3rd & 4th
Format – play two rounds – pick the best net score from each hole
The quality of the golf across the field was superior - 60% of the field shot better than net par - WOW!! The great golf was made even more exciting by how tightly contested the flights were.
Flight 1 Ended with a tie for first place
Todd Pratt finally caught and tied Andee Heaberlin who led for most of the tournament. Unfortunately for Andee, Todd won the tiebreaker and the 1st place prize money.
Flight 2 was a runaway
Joe Valancius lapped the field with the lowest score of the tournament at -10 to win that flight by 4 strokes. This was the largest margin of victory.
Flight 3 was decided by 1 stroke
Ken McMullen (-7) held off a fast charging Tim Schaal (-6) to win the 3rd Flight by one stroke.
Flight 4 was a 2-stroke difference
Jim Garrison (-9) outlasted Jeff Hansen and Dave Cacci (-7) to win that flight by 2.,
Fourteen (14) golfers in Flight One were under net par as were twelve (12) in Flight Two, eleven (11) in Flight Three and an amazing sixteen (16) in Flight Four. Great playing by everyone!
