2024 Founders’ Cup  - November 6th & 7th
Format:  Two day - full handicap - Net Score
 
What started with a 30 minute frost delay, ended with a glorious day for golf that was perfect for wearing shorts!
 
We had 91 members tee it up and we only had ONE player who was able to shoot under net par for two days.  Of course, that was the winning formula.  A special congrats to our 2024 Founders Cup Champion, Bill Penaluna!   Below photo - Tony Salerno (red shirt) with Bill Penaluna.
 
Bill went  69-68 to finish with a sizzling 137 and a 5 stroke victory over 2nd place finisher Mick Borm.  Mick played terrific, steady golf and shot 70-72. His 142 was good for second place one stroke ahead of Bill Hawk who finished strong with a 69.  If you shot even par like Neil Hartman (72-72), you finished alone in fourth place.
 
Congrats are also in order for the eight closest to the pin winners over the two days.   
 
On Day 1, Tom Merrick on #2, Tony Salerno on #5, Lou Mastro on #12 and Jeff Hansen on # 14. 
 
Day 2 winners were Ken Rice on #2, Bob Page on #5, Sam Rossi on #12 and Tim Resh on #14.
