The MGA & WGA will be providing a pizza lunch for the maintenance staff the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
IV. Vice Presidents Report
Tom reported that the ballot for next year’s board will be sent to members today. Voting will be done via email.
There will be a MGA holiday dinner & party 12/9 in the ballroom. The dinner will be a holiday themed meal catered by Tracy’s Catering. There will be a cash bar and a DJ. Seating will be in tables of 8. To reserve a table put all names & checks in an envelope & place in the box that will be provided in the pro shop.
V. Treasurers Report
Mike Tomaso gave a financial update.
Mike also reported that he will send out one more email to members informing those that haven’t gotten their bag tags & divot tools to contact him.
VI. Secretarys Report
Jeff gave an update from the Greens Committee & Grounds Subcommittee.
The course will be closed on Wednesdays again this summer. If we have a 2-man member / member event this summer, we will need to have it on 2 consecutive Thursdays.
While not finalized, it is looking like the annual pass for next year will be $3,200 but will have the usual discounts for paying cash & a discount for a second pass. A range card will also be included like last year.
The course will stay with single riders carts for the near future. However, we need to continue to encourage people to pair up in carts if they’re comfortable doing so & to limit carts off path to 2 on each hole. We should also encourage following the 90 degree cart rule to reduce wear & tear on the course & 90 degree reminder signs have been placed on all holes.
VII. Weekly Events Report
Mick reported on the results of the Club Championship & the Founders Cup events that were recently completed.
The board thanked Mick for his work on these events.
VIII. Communications Report
Frank reported that he has updated the bulletin boards with the new Club Champion & Founders Cup winners.
IX. Membership Report
Eric reported that we now have 284 full members. From 10/2 until today there have been 88 renewals, 10 of which are new members.
X. Community Outreach Report
Rick had nothing new to report.
XI. Director of Golf Report
Mike Jahaske asked that we provide him with an events calendar for next year.
He also reported that they are changing the agreement with Golf Now. There will be no blocked times until after placement going forward.
There will be a fitting day 11/15 & he will also be having a holiday sale.
Members are reminded to clear out their credit book prior to the end of the year. You can also use credit to order items & on range cards or tokens.
Mike offered to conduct special clinics for the MGA if desired.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 pm.
